Cybersecurity Engineer
Cybersecurity Engineers are detail oriented and responsible for protecting Microsoft systems against persistent threats. They perform many functions including developing and implementing secure network solutions, completing assessments and penetration testing, managing audits and security technology systems, and architecting secure systems.

Completion of relevant training, for example:
- Graduated from a cybersecurity academy or boot camp
- Self-taught programmer with cybersecurity training demonstrating recent development projects or professional experience
- Degree from a community college in cybersecurity or related field
- Degree from a college/university in cybersecurity or related field with a previous career in tech, plus a 2+ year career break
- Previous work experience in any field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Currently authorized to work in the United States for entire duration of the cohort. Immigration sponsorship will not be provided by the employer nor Microsoft
